Scholarship

 The following scholarships are available for self-financed students. Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic record, economic status, personal information, and other factors by the awards selection committee.
 Recruitment will be posted on the foreign student bulletin board or notified to the supervisor of the international students. Please contact the International Office at the Student Affairs Division for further details.

Scholarship Recruitment period Requirements

Hamamatsu University School of Medicine International Exchange Scholarship

At the time of application for admission

?Self-financed graduate school student

?Multiple scholarships is allowed, but the amount of this scholarship will be reduced in that case

Honors Scholarship for Privately Financed International Students (Pre-arrival)

Around March/September

?Self-financed undergraduate school student
?Self-financed graduate school student and/or research student

?Language Proficiency

?Successful applicant of Pre-Arrival Entrance Exam

Rotary-Yoneyama Memorial Foundation Scholarship

September

?Undergraduate students who intend to move up to 5th-6th year of medical school, or 3rd-4th year of nursing school.
?Graduate student who intend to move up to 1st
or 2nd year in M.A. Program, or 3rd or 4th year in PhD Program, must be under 45 years of age.
?Those who receive scholarship from their own
government or another organization, or obtain doctoral degree are not eligible.

Heiwa Nakajima Foundation Scholarship for foreign students in Japan

September

?Those who are currently enrolled at our university and expected to be enrolled in a regular program at the university starting April of the following year.

?Holds a "Student" status of residence.

?Those exceeding the standard program duration, including periods of leave of absence, are not eligible.

?Have not previously received this scholarship.
